Finance Minister Stresses Uninterrupted Fuel Supply as Government Priority

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring an uninterrupted supply of petroleum products, emphasizing it as a top priority. Chairing a meeting of the Committee to Monitor Petrol Prices, the minister highlighted the importance of sustained coordination and strategic planning in maintaining market stability and national energy security.

According to Radio Pakistan, the committee received updates that current petroleum inventories are at satisfactory levels, supported by secure import arrangements and ongoing production. The meeting also noted that petrol shipments for March and April have been mostly secured, with plans for additional imports to bolster supply reserves further.

Senator Aurangzeb instructed relevant authorities to maintain vigilant monitoring of international developments, stock levels, and supply chain dynamics to facilitate timely and coordinated policy measures.
