Finance Minister Highlights Healthcare Investment at Saifee Hospital Inauguration


Karachi: Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, alongside Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, attended the inauguration of the Cardiac Wing at Saifee Hospital in Karachi. The event was held at the Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah University Auditorium in North Nazimabad, where the Finance Minister delivered a keynote address emphasizing the significance of the new facility.



According to Press Information Department, the Finance Minister emphasized the importance of the newly established cardiac facility, noting its state-of-the-art catheterization labs and advanced diagnostic capabilities. He described the initiative as crucial for providing timely cardiac care and underscored the role of private institutions in enhancing healthcare access and relieving the public healthcare system.



Senator Aurangzeb also highlighted the essential contributions of healthcare professionals in making a substantial difference in patient care. He praised the efforts of the Bohra community and all involved in the initiative, acknowledging their commitment to social welfare and healthcare improvement.



The Finance Minister reiterated the view that healthcare should be seen as an investment in the nation’s people, contributing to productivity and economic resilience. He expressed appreciation for the community’s dedication and the establishment of the Cardiac Wing, hoping it would become a leading example in Karachi and inspire similar initiatives nationwide.
