Finance Minister Aurangzeb Lauds Pakistani Diaspora’s Role in Strengthening Pak-US Relations


Washington: Minister for Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb has acknowledged the significant contributions of the Pakistani diaspora in enhancing the economic, business, and investment ties between Pakistan and the United States. This recognition came during a series of interactions with community leaders and tech entrepreneurs in the capital.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during his engagements, Minister Aurangzeb discussed the latest socio-economic developments in Pakistan with diaspora leaders, highlighting the progress and potential areas of collaboration. In meetings with Pakistani-American tech entrepreneurs, he pointed out the information technology sector as a rapidly growing area of the Pakistani economy, noting that Pakistan is now among the top five countries globally for freelancing.



The Finance Minister’s discussions underscored the critical role of the diaspora in bridging relations between the two countries, particularly in advancing technological and economic exchanges.
