RAWALPINDI: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, has highlighted the country’s ongoing structural reforms aimed at fostering a business-friendly environment and attracting foreign investment. In discussions with U.S. Representatives Ryan Keith Zinke of Montana and Michael James of Washington, Field Marshal Munir underscored Pakistan’s economic potential and the importance of regional stability anchored in economic growth and trade connectivity.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting between the Pakistani military leadership and the American lawmakers in Rawalpindi focused on mutual interests, regional security, and bilateral defense cooperation. The discussions also covered potential avenues for enhancing economic collaboration and prosperity. The U.S. representatives acknowledged Pakistan’s critical role in maintaining regional stability and economic resilience, recognizing the professional insights of the Pakistani delegation.
