ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police has bolstered its public service delivery system through the establishment of modern facilitation centers, as per instructions from Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. The initiative aims to provide comprehensive police services under one roof.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the performance report for the current year highlights the effectiveness of the 12 state-of-the-art Police Khidmat Markaz. These centers are strategically located across the city, including F-6, G-9, Diplomatic Enclave, H-11, and others, along with mobile police facilitation vans. They offer services such as issuing character certificates, vehicle verifications, tenant registrations, and general police verifications.

The report reveals that this year, the centers issued 21,160 character certificates, conducted 977 vehicle verifications, registered 13,321 tenants, and processed 29,355 general police verification requests. Additionally, they recorded 6,163 lost property reports, registered 727 domestic employees, and registered 5,597 foreign nationals, along with issuing 4,911 exit certificates.

IGP Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi noted the upgrade of the F-6 Khidmat Markaz to meet modern standards, enhancing the efficiency and speed of services provided to citizens. He reiterated the police force’s commitment to delivering top-tier policing services, resolving public complaints promptly, and reinforcing public trust.

The Islamabad Police pledges to continue serving the public by advancing citizen-friendly policing and ensuring accessible and transparent services for all citizens.
