Islamabad: In an impressive display of marksmanship, Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan secured the second position at the Tactical Pistol Shooting Competition 2024, held this Saturday by the Islamabad Capital Territory Police. The competition featured 45 skilled professional shooters.
According to Press Information Department, the event was a showcase of high-level shooting skills across multiple categories, including both pistol and submachine gun competitions. Nouman Ali emerged victorious in the Pistol Shooting Category, while Jam Kamal Khan, also serving as the chief guest, clinched the second place. The Submachine Gun (SMG) category saw Irfan Jan taking the top spot.
Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Police Inayat Ali presided over the awards ceremony, distributing trophies, medals, and certificates to the winners. Prince Jam Muhammad Khan, son of Jam Kamal Khan, accepted the award on behalf of his father. During his address, Minister Khan emphasized the value of such competitions, stating they play a crucial role in enhancing the physical and mental well-being of participants and are fully supported by the government. AIG Inayat Ali also remarked on the social and community benefits of these events, noting their role in infusing positive energy into the community.
