Islamabad: Federal Minister for Board of Investment, Mr. Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, met with a delegation from Sundar Green Special Economic Zone to discuss industrial development initiatives in Pakistan. The meeting, held at the BOI headquarters, included discussions with Mr. Rana Muhammad Hayat, MNA, and key executives from Sundar Green SEZ.

According to Press Information Department, the meeting was attended by Secretary BOI, Mr. Jamil Qureshi, Additional Secretary Mr. Zulfiqar Ali, and other senior officials. The Federal Minister acknowledged the contributions of the Sundar Green SEZ team, appreciating their efforts in establishing a modern and sustainable industrial zone. Discussions centered on the economic potential of SEZs in driving export-led growth, with the Minister highlighting successful international models as benchmarks for Pakistan.

The Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to fostering an investor-friendly environment through policies and incentives such as tax exemptions. Both parties agreed on the importance of export-oriented industrial growth for Pakistan’s economic future and pledged to collaborate on enhancing the investment landscape.
