Karachi: Federal Minister for Board of Investment (BOI), Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, visited Cadet College Malir on an invitation from Principal Khuzema Gohar, where he received a ceremonial guard of honor from the cadets. The visit highlighted the minister’s focus on the importance of youth education and leadership in Pakistan’s development.

According to Press Information Department, the minister interacted with cadets and faculty, emphasizing the need for educational institutions to foster discipline, character building, patriotism, and leadership skills. He stated that the youth are a vital asset for Pakistan’s future, and investments in their education and character are crucial. The event was attended by notable figures including Prince Hayat Khan and former Member of the National Assembly Kanwar Qutubuddin.

The Federal Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to creating a conducive environment for investors, aiming to spur economic growth through innovation and entrepreneurship. He linked national security, economic development, and international standing with the role of an educated and disciplined younger generation. Additionally, he praised the educational and training system at Cadet College Malir for its role in honing students’ confidence, discipline, and leadership abilities.

In his address, Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh lauded the college’s efforts in providing a balanced educational environment and encouraged cadets to excel in their studies and maintain discipline. He also acknowledged the armed forces’ contribution to national defense, paying tribute to Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, for his leadership.
