Islamabad: The Federal Secretary for National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination, Muhammad Aslam Ghori, conducted an extensive visit to Shaikh Zayed Hospital in Lahore to assess patient care services and institutional developments.

According to Press Information Department, the Secretary’s visit included inspections of various departments such as the Emergency Department, the under-expansion Paediatric Emergency Unit, the Sehat Sahulat Programme Dialysis Centre, the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and the Hospital Pharmacy. The focus was on evaluating the expansion of paediatric emergency services, the availability of essential medicines, and the quality of healthcare services being delivered to patients.

During his tour, Mr. Ghori engaged directly with patients and their attendants, gathering feedback on the quality of treatment and healthcare services. Patients conveyed their satisfaction with the medical care and the professionalism of the healthcare staff. The Secretary highlighted the equitable healthcare services provided to both general and private patients, underscoring the hospital’s commitment to fairness in patient care.

He praised the hospital administration and healthcare teams for their efforts and stressed the importance of maintaining high standards, ensuring effective treatment, and enhancing patient-centered services. Shaikh Zayed Hospital continues to focus on providing high-quality healthcare, improving clinical services, and upgrading infrastructure to align with the Government of Pakistan’s healthcare vision.
