Islamabad: Federal Minister for Health Syed Mustafa Kamal announced today that the Pakistani government is implementing measures to upgrade the nursing sector, emphasizing the critical role it plays in the nation’s healthcare system. The minister highlighted that providing quality health services remains a top priority for the government.
According to Radio Pakistan, Kamal addressed a news conference where he detailed various steps being taken to improve the nursing department to align with modern-day requirements. He noted that an ordinance aimed at ensuring good governance within the nursing sector has been introduced. This ordinance has already been approved by the Prime Minister and is currently awaiting the President’s approval.
The minister’s remarks underline the government’s commitment to enhancing healthcare services across the country, with a particular focus on strengthening the nursing workforce to meet contemporary healthcare challenges.
