Islamabad: Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry has announced that the Federal Government is committed to providing all necessary support to ensure peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He made this statement during a meeting with a parliamentary delegation comprising members from various political parties in the region.
According to Radio Pakistan, Chaudhry acknowledged the sacrifices made by the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and law enforcement agencies, labeling them as unforgettable. He stressed the importance of a national consensus and a coordinated strategy to effectively combat terrorism and secure lasting peace in the province. Chaudhry further called on lawmakers to bolster the nation’s counterterrorism efforts by enacting effective legislation.
