ISLAMABAD: The Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan has announced its closure on Monday, April 20, due to the shut down of the Red Zone in Islamabad. A formal notification regarding this decision has been issued by the Court.
According to Press Information Department, the notification states that the closure is in consideration of the challenges faced by legal counsel, litigants, and court staff. The Hon’ble Chief Justice has directed all officers and staff to perform their duties from home while ensuring they remain in Islamabad. The branch registries of the Court will continue to operate for routine judicial work, and the cause list has been adjusted to accommodate the current situation.
The Court emphasizes its commitment to maintaining uninterrupted access to justice and the efficient handling of cases despite the circumstances.
