FBR Schedules System Maintenance, Services to Be Unavailable


ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced a planned system maintenance activity that will result in the temporary unavailability of several critical services from August 8 to August 10, 2026.



According to Press Information Department, the maintenance will affect services including the Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS), Digital Invoicing (DI), Payment System, Synchronized Withholding Administration and Payment System (SWAPS), and Point of Sale (POS) Registration. These services will be offline starting at 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 8, and are expected to resume by 5:00 a.m. on Monday, August 10.



The FBR has advised taxpayers and stakeholders to plan their activities accordingly, ensuring all necessary filings, payments, and registrations are completed before the scheduled maintenance begins. The board has assured that all services will be operational immediately following the maintenance.



The FBR expressed regret for any inconvenience caused and thanked taxpayers and stakeholders for their cooperation and understanding during this period.
