EPZA Marks Milestone with First Export to Kyrgyzstan


Karachi: The Export Processing Zones Authority (EPZA) has dispatched its inaugural export consignment to Kyrgyzstan via a land route, marking a pivotal development in Pakistan’s efforts to enhance regional trade connectivity and expand its export market.



According to Radio Pakistan, the consignment included products such as herbal oils, herbal tea, henna, creams, and soaps, highlighting Pakistan’s focus on diversifying its value-added exports. The initiative is part of a broader strategy to explore new markets in Central Asia.



The Chairman of the EPZA emphasized ongoing efforts to boost exports, aligning with the government’s economic objectives. He expressed optimism that these initiatives will not only fortify trade relations with Kyrgyzstan but also create opportunities for Pakistani exporters in the region. The Authority remains committed to supporting exporters and promoting “Made in Pakistan” products globally.
