ECC Approves Technical Supplementary Grants for Wheat and Public Campaigns

ISLAMABAD: The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet, chaired by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, has approved a series of technical supplementary grants, including the allocation of 50,000 metric tons of PASSCO wheat to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and funds for federal information campaigns.

According to Radio Pakistan, the ECC approved a summary from the Ministry of National Food Security to supply additional wheat to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the cost of 4,150 rupees per forty kilograms, addressing the province’s wheat needs. Additionally, the ECC sanctioned a Technical Supplementary Grant of 2,674.13 million rupees to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to support federal public information and awareness campaigns.

Further approvals were granted for technical supplementary grants to various government entities, including the Strategic Plans Division/SUPARCO, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, and the Parliamentary Affairs Division.
