ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has lauded the government’s economic team for their efforts in the successful preparation and presentation of the federal budget. He highlighted the balanced, people-friendly, and growth-oriented nature of the budget, emphasizing its alignment with prevailing economic conditions.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister acknowledged the hard work and professional competence of the team, underscoring the collaborative effort that went into the budget’s formulation. He specifically praised Minister for Finance and Revenue Muhammad Aurangzeb, Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal, Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Cheema, Minister of State for Finance Bilal Azhar Kayani, Adviser to the Prime Minister Syed Tauqir Shah, Finance Secretary Imdad Ullah Bosal, Chairman Federal Board of Revenue Rashid Mahmood Langrial, and other officers and experts from the Ministry of Finance, FBR, Planning Division, and related institutions.
The Prime Minister noted that the budget was crafted with the national interest in mind, aiming to achieve economic stability, fiscal discipline, investment promotion, and public welfare. He expressed confidence that the economic team would maintain their dedication and resolve in working towards the nation’s economic growth and prosperity.
