Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar emphasized Pakistan’s dedication to enhancing its relations with the Maldives, focusing on increasing bilateral cooperation in several key areas during a meeting with Maldivian President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.
According to Radio Pakistan, Dar highlighted the significance of expanding collaboration in trade, investment, education, climate change, and tourism. The Deputy Prime Minister welcomed the active involvement of the Maldivian business delegation at the Maldives-Pakistan Business Forum, expressing optimism that business-to-business interactions would lead to substantial trade and investment opportunities.
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu conveyed appreciation for the warm reception and hospitality provided to him and his delegation. He reaffirmed the Maldives’ interest in strengthening its relationship with Pakistan and exploring new avenues for mutually beneficial cooperation.
