LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed grief on Wednesday over a bus accident near Rajanpur that resulted in multiple fatalities.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the chief minister instructed the Rajanpur deputy commissioner to oversee rescue operations at the accident site. Emergency measures were implemented at the District Headquarters Hospital in Rajanpur and other nearby hospitals to provide medical assistance to the injured passengers.

The chief minister directed authorities to ensure the best possible treatment for the injured and prayed for their quick recovery. She also extended condolences to the bereaved families and called for action against those deemed responsible for the accident.
