Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar convened a meeting of the Committee on Rationalization of Pakistan Missions Abroad, where comprehensive recommendations were finalized to be presented to the Prime Minister. The meeting aimed to optimize the performance and effectiveness of Pakistan’s diplomatic missions globally.
According to Radio Pakistan, the committee’s review focused on the functional and organizational arrangements at these missions. Ishaq Dar emphasized the importance of enhancing coordination among ministries and departments at the missions, bolstering economic diplomacy, and improving the effectiveness of Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts to advance its foreign policy and economic goals.
