DPM and Saudi Foreign Minister Discuss Regional Developments and Maritime Security


ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud to discuss the evolving regional situation and matters of mutual interest.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Saudi Foreign Minister expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting regional peace and stability. He reiterated Saudi Arabia’s support for Pakistan’s efforts, especially in the context of the ongoing engagement between Iran and the United States.



During the conversation, the leaders exchanged views on the importance of safeguarding maritime security, with a specific focus on the Strait of Hormuz. They also agreed to maintain close contact regarding regional and international developments.
