Doctors Nearly Confirm Poisoning in Rajouri Deaths

Jammu: Doctors in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir have nearly confirmed that poisoning is the likely cause of a mysterious illness in the village of Badhaal, Rajouri, after the administration of atropine, a medication known to counteract poison, resulted in a full recovery for those treated.

According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, the illness, which has claimed 17 lives since December 7, saw a positive turn when atropine was used, yielding a 100% recovery rate for patients.

However, the specific toxic substance responsible remains unidentified, with forensic reports still pending. Authorities continue to observe the situation closely, maintaining surveillance on affected individuals for any potential long-term health effects.

A senior doctor commented on the situation, noting the uncertainty surrounding the exact nature of the poison but emphasizing the effectiveness of atropine. “We are not sure about the exact nature of the poison, but atropine has proven highly effective,” the doctor stated.

Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, Secretary of the Health and Medical Education Department, together with Principal GMC Rajouri AS Bhatia and a team of experts, are actively monitoring developments.

Local residents have expressed suspicions regarding the Indian Army’s possible involvement in contaminating the water source, allegedly under the guise of targeting freedom fighters in the region.
