DIG Security Takes Swift Action on Officer Grievances, Prioritizes Welfare Issues

Islamabad: In a concerted effort to address grievances and improve the welfare of police officers, DIG Security Muhammad Atique Tahir convened an orderly room to prioritize the resolution of both departmental and personal issues faced by officers in the Islamabad Police force.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, this initiative followed special directives from Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. The orderly room, held in DIG Security Tahir’s office, provided a platform for officers from the Security Division to present their concerns. Tahir responded by instructing officers to revisit inquiries into serious matters and prioritize resolving other ongoing issues.

During the session, Tahir highlighted several initiatives aimed at enhancing officer welfare, such as housing improvements, better medical facilities, and raising educational standards. He assured the officers that his office is always open for them, emphasizing the importance of collective effort for the city’s betterment. The orderly room’s main objective, he noted, is to address police officers’ welfare, personal, and official issues promptly and effectively.
