ISLAMABAD: Senior officers from the Islamabad Police conducted visits to various duty points to review and enhance security measures in the federal capital. The initiative, directed by Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, aims to ensure comprehensive security for the region.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, SSP Investigations Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt and SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza inspected several police pickets and duty points, engaging with officers to evaluate the current security protocols. They emphasized the need for effective and purposeful checks to safeguard citizens’ lives and property.
During the visits, the officers instructed personnel to maintain vigilance, effectively monitor suspicious individuals and vehicles, and promptly report any unusual activities to senior officials. They also stressed the importance of courteous interaction with the public to build trust between law enforcement and the community.
The Islamabad Police reiterated that the protection of citizens remains their top priority, with all security measures designed to meet this objective. Residents are encouraged to cooperate with police efforts and report any suspicious activities to local stations or through the police helpline, Pucar-15.
