DIG Security Takes Swift Action on Officer Grievances in Islamabad


Islamabad: DIG Security Rana Umar Farooq has conducted an orderly room to address the departmental and personal issues faced by Islamabad Police officers, following special directions from Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, the orderly room was attended by officers from the Security Division who presented their personal and official issues. DIG Security directed that inquiries into serious matters be reopened and prioritized, ensuring timely resolution of all issues. He highlighted initiatives aimed at improving officers’ welfare, including housing, medical facilities, and education standards.



DIG Farooq assured officers of open communication with his office and stressed the importance of collective efforts for the city’s betterment. Moreover, he acknowledged the achievements of national boxer Constable Muhammad Waseem, wishing him success in his career.
