ISLAMABAD: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Headquarters Muhammad Atiq Tahir chaired a meeting to review the development and welfare projects of the Islamabad Police, focusing on infrastructure improvements and welfare measures for officers and officials.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting included participation from AIG General Syed Inayat Ali Shah, SSP Model Prisons Ali Akbar, SSP CTD Saud Khan, among others. Discussions centered around ongoing development projects, capacity-building initiatives, and administrative matters. Key topics included modern construction schemes, infrastructure upgrades, and the progress of welfare initiatives such as residential facilities and medical assistance.

DIG Headquarters emphasized the importance of timely and quality completion of projects to enhance the professionalism and citizen-friendliness of the police force.
