ISLAMABAD: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Security Islamabad, Rana Umar Farooq, led a crucial meeting with security officers to assess the current security measures in place for Chinese nationals residing and working in the capital city. The meeting focused on the safety protocols at their residences, development projects, and other sensitive areas.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting included a comprehensive evaluation of security strategies, including deployment plans, security duties, and monitoring systems. Officers provided briefings on the current security situation, emphasizing the need for robust and coordinated security arrangements.

During the review, DIG Security Islamabad directed the officers to ensure that the security measures remain effective and responsive. He highlighted the importance of constant vigilance, effective checking procedures, and enhanced surveillance to ensure a swift response to any emergencies.

He reiterated that the safety of Chinese nationals is a key priority for the Islamabad Police and cautioned against any negligence in security duties. Officers were instructed to adhere strictly to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain close coordination with relevant departments to ensure a strengthened security framework.
