DIG Headquarters Reviews Development Projects and Welfare Measures for Islamabad Police

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Headquarters Malik Jameel Zafar conducted a comprehensive review of police affairs, focusing on development projects and welfare measures, during a meeting attended by senior officials.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting was attended by AIG General Syed Inayat Ali Shah, SSP Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Saud Khan, Director Special Initiatives Shams-ul-Haq Durrani, among others. The DIG Headquarters examined ongoing and proposed development initiatives, infrastructure improvements, and the provision of facilities for officers at various duty points.

The DIG Headquarters directed all officers to complete development projects within the specified time frame, ensuring quality is maintained. He highlighted the importance of prioritizing the welfare of police officers and providing necessary facilities during their duties.

He also called for a comprehensive strategy for infrastructure improvement, effective resource utilization, and enhanced coordination among departments. Officers were instructed to improve performance and ensure timely and quality services to the public.

The meeting concluded with the assignment of targets and responsibilities to the officers, emphasizing professionalism, diligence, and responsibility in their duties.
