ISLAMABAD: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq conducted an inspection of security arrangements at multiple duty points, emphasizing the importance of vigilance and professionalism among officers.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, DIG Tariq’s visit entailed a comprehensive review of the security protocols and procedures in place. During his inspection, he engaged with officers and officials deployed at various locations, instructing them to exercise thoroughness in the checking of suspicious vehicles, motorcycles, and individuals. Furthermore, he stressed the need for the strict implementation of all security standard operating procedures (SOPs) and urged immediate action against any suspicious activities.

DIG Tariq also underscored the importance of officers maintaining a state of alertness and dedication in their duties. He called for enhanced preparedness to respond to emergencies and a reinforcement of security measures’ effectiveness. Additionally, he highlighted the need for officers to treat citizens with courtesy and respect, balancing public convenience with security requirements to ensure public safety and confidence.
