ISLAMABAD: Director General Safe City/DIG Traffic Islamabad Muhammad Haroon Joya chaired a review meeting to assess the progress of the Safe City Expansion Project, focusing on enhancing the city’s security and traffic management systems.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting included the project team and officers involved in the project’s implementation. A comprehensive briefing was presented, covering the completed components, ongoing works, and remaining activities. The review also addressed various technical and administrative aspects.
Director General Safe City/DIG Traffic instructed officers to ensure the completion of remaining tasks within the stipulated timeline, emphasizing the importance of maintaining quality standards. This initiative aims to benefit citizens through modern security infrastructure, efficient traffic management, and smart policing facilities.
Haroon Joya highlighted the project’s role in crime prevention, traffic regulation improvement, e-challan system strengthening, and surveillance network enhancement using advanced technology.
