Deputy Prime Minister Urges Stronger Pakistan-Nepal Relations

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar met with Aamir Khan, the newly appointed Ambassador-designate to Nepal, in Islamabad to discuss the enhancement of bilateral ties between Pakistan and Nepal. Dar emphasized the need for increased cooperation in sectors such as trade, tourism, education, and people-to-people exchanges.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, Dar extended his congratulations to Khan on his new role and highlighted the importance of forging stronger connections with Nepalese leadership and business sectors. He urged Khan to explore and develop new economic partnerships between the two nations. Additionally, Dar acknowledged Khan’s previous contributions as Director General (Americas) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and expressed his confidence in Khan’s capabilities to succeed in his forthcoming diplomatic duties.
