Deputy Prime Minister Urges Stronger Enforcement of Labour Laws


ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has called for more effective enforcement of labour laws to protect workers’ rights in Pakistan. Chairing a meeting of the Committee on Compliance of Labour Laws, Dar highlighted the importance of creating a fair environment for labourers.



According to Radio Pakistan, the committee assessed existing labour laws with an emphasis on improving their implementation. The review aims to offer better protection for workers across different sectors, reflecting the government’s commitment to enhancing labour conditions. Dar’s appeal underscores the need for stringent measures to uphold labour standards nationwide.
