Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has called for a broader scope of educational cooperation with friendly countries, emphasizing the need to explore new avenues for strengthening people-to-people ties through academic exchanges and scholarship opportunities.

According to Radio Pakistan, the deputy prime minister made these remarks while presiding over an inter-ministerial meeting in Islamabad. The meeting was convened to assess Pakistan’s international education cooperation and scholarship programs for students from friendly nations. During the meeting, the Federal Secretary for Education provided a briefing on the scholarships currently being offered to students from various countries.

Ishaq Dar expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Ministry of Education and conveyed his satisfaction with the progress achieved in fostering educational linkages and cooperation.
