Amman: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will depart for Amman, Jordan, to participate in a Ministerial Meeting on Jerusalem. The meeting, scheduled for tomorrow, is aimed at addressing the rapidly escalating situation in the occupied city.
According to Radio Pakistan, the visit comes at the invitation of Jordan’s Foreign Minister, Ayman Al-Safadi. The gathering will include Foreign Ministers from the Arab League and several Islamic countries, including Pakistan, to develop a unified stance on the issue. The ministers are also expected to meet with King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of Jordan.
Ishaq Dar plans to engage in bilateral discussions with other Foreign Ministers on the sidelines of the meeting. These discussions will focus on regional developments, the Palestinian issue, and other subjects of mutual interest. His attendance underscores Pakistan’s consistent support for the Palestinian cause and its commitment to an independent Palestinian state, as outlined by pre-1967 borders and with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
