Deputy Prime Minister Raises Concerns Over Palestinian Territory Situation


AMMAN: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has voiced concern over the situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, focusing on areas such as Occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank. He highlighted these issues during a Ministerial Meeting on Jerusalem held in Amman.



According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar condemned the ongoing violations at Al-Aqsa Mosque, the expansion of illegal settlements, and settler violence. He also criticized efforts to change the historical and legal status of the Holy Sites by Israel. Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s support for the Hashemite Custodianship over the Islamic and Christian Holy Sites in Jerusalem, emphasizing that Israel does not have sovereignty over Occupied East Jerusalem.
