Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan to Visit China for Strategic Talks

BEIJING: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar is set to visit China on Tuesday, following an invitation from China’s Foreign Minister, Wang Yi. The visit aims to facilitate comprehensive discussions on regional, bilateral, and global issues that concern both nations.

According to Radio Pakistan, the partnership between Pakistan and China is described as an all-weather strategic cooperative partnership, underscored by consistent coordination and consultations on various regional and international matters. The upcoming visit underscores the significance of the relationship, as evidenced by Senator Dar’s decision to proceed with the trip despite medical advice to rest after sustaining a hairline shoulder fracture.
