Islamabad: Kuwait Petroleum Corporation has committed to facilitating the supply of diesel and jet fuel to Pakistani-flagged vessels, as stated in a recent meeting between Pakistan’s Minister for Petroleum, Ali Pervaiz Malik, and Kuwait’s Ambassador, Nassar Abdulrahman Jasser Al-Mutairi.
According to Radio Pakistan, the assurance was conveyed through a statement following the diplomatic meeting held in Islamabad. The ambassador affirmed Kuwait’s continued support for Pakistan, emphasizing the longstanding partnership between the two nations. Minister Malik expressed his gratitude for Kuwait’s facilitation and recognized the historical importation of petroleum products, notably diesel, from Kuwait over the past five decades.
Minister Malik also underscored Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s active role in promoting peaceful conflict resolution, reflecting on Pakistan’s strategic partnerships amid global and regional challenges.
