Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan and Saudi Foreign Minister Discuss Regional Developments

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, held a telephonic conversation with Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, to discuss recent regional developments and mutual interests. During the call, Dar extended his congratulations to Prince Faisal on the election of Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed of Mauritania as the new Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

According to Radio Pakistan, the discussion also covered the upcoming meeting of the R4 forum, with both ministers exchanging views on matters of mutual interest. The two leaders emphasized the importance of maintaining close engagement on these issues.
