Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar engaged in a meeting with the President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Dr. Muhammad Najeeb Naqi Khan, and the Prime Minister of AJK, Barrister Syed Iftikhar Ali Gilani, to discuss development strategies for the region. The discussions focused on enhancing trade, tourism, and infrastructure projects in AJK.
According to Press Information Department, the AJK leaders emphasized the importance of federal assistance in improving public services, healthcare, and education, while also creating economic opportunities for youth. Senator Dar expressed confidence in the AJK leadership’s efforts to meet local aspirations and assured Pakistan’s support for regional development and socio-economic advancement.
Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary, was also present at the meeting.
