Islamabad: Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has extended greetings to Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish Parliament, government, and people on the occasion of the Republic Day of Türkiye. He emphasized the day as a symbol of the Turkish nation’s commitment to democratic values, national unity, and progress.

According to Senate of Pakistan, in his message, Chairman Senate highlighted that Pakistan-Türkiye relations are rooted in shared history, mutual affection, sincerity, and unwavering solidarity. Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani remarked that the deep bond between the two nations extends beyond diplomatic ties and reflects their enduring friendship.

He also noted Pakistan’s high regard for its longstanding relations with Türkiye, citing that parliamentary exchanges and cooperation in various fields have strengthened mutual understanding and advanced shared interests.
