Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar has assured Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah that the Federal government will ensure the full and timely release of funds for all approved projects. This assurance came during a meeting in Islamabad.
According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that any cost increases for ongoing projects would be swiftly considered by the Central Development Working Party (CDWP) and the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC).
The meeting reviewed ongoing development projects in Sindh as part of the Public Sector Development Programme. Discussions focused on allocations, implementation, and approvals, particularly concerning road connectivity, water storage, school infrastructure, and housing.
Both parties agreed that the timely completion of projects within the approved budget is crucial for the province’s development and the wellbeing of its residents.
