ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar met with Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong to discuss the state of bilateral relations between the two nations. The meeting, held in the capital, focused on the progress of CPEC 2.0, an initiative aimed at fostering economic cooperation and regional connectivity.
According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the discussions included a review of the advancements within the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) 2.0. Both parties emphasized the importance of this project in enhancing mutual economic interests and strengthening regional ties.
The officials also highlighted the Pakistan-China All Weather Strategic Partnership, expressing a shared commitment to advancing their bilateral relationship. They discussed potential strategies to elevate the partnership to new levels, reinforcing the strategic bond between Pakistan and China.
