Islamabad: Deputy Chairman Senate Syedaal Khan Nasar attended a Quran Khwani and condolence gathering in memory of the late Dil Jan Khan Marwat, former Inspector General of Police, former Federal Secretary for Interior, and former Member of the United Nations International Narcotics Control Board. During the gathering, Nasar offered prayers for the eternal peace of Marwat’s soul and highlighted his significant contributions to the nation.
According to Senate of Pakistan, Nasar praised Marwat’s services to the country in various important positions, noting that his efforts would be remembered with respect. He prayed for Marwat’s forgiveness and his place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, and sought strength for the bereaved family to endure their loss.
The Quran Khwani was also attended by former Provincial Health Minister Akbar Jan Khan Marwat, Member of the National Assembly and Parliamentary Secretary for National Heritage and Culture Farah Naz Akbar, Dr. Asghar Dil Jan Khan Marwat, Dr. Asad Dil Jan Khan Marwat, along with family members, relatives, and other notables.
