Islamabad, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, along with Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, announced that the government is committed to ensuring full accountability for the perpetrators behind the May 9 violent incidents. At a news conference in Islamabad, Asif outlined the government’s resolve to bring the conspirators to justice, emphasizing the planned nature of the attacks and their impact on national security.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Defence Minister detailed the premeditated nature of the May 9 events, describing them as an assault on the foundational principles of Pakistan. He expressed profound regret over the desecration of memorials dedicated to national martyrs and the targeted attacks on military installations.
Responding to inquiries, Minister Asif confirmed that Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav remains in Pakistani custody, underscoring ongoing security and intelligence operations. The Information Minister Tarar supported these remarks by highlighting available evidence linking specific individuals to the May 9 incidents, asserting the government’s commitment to their prosecution.
