ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to addressing the challenges faced by the people of Balochistan. This pledge was made during a meeting with the President of the National Party, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, and other parliamentary members in Islamabad.
According to Radio Pakistan, Senator Dar emphasized the government’s dedication to supporting the people of Balochistan in achieving their legitimate aspirations for economic prosperity and development, all within the constitutional framework of Pakistan. The meeting underscored the government’s resolve to address the issues affecting the region.
Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch expressed gratitude towards the Deputy Prime Minister, affirming the National Party’s willingness to collaborate for the betterment and welfare of Balochistan’s residents. He noted that insurgent groups in the province lack both support and legitimacy among the populace. The meeting was also attended by Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Rana Sanaullah Khan and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Bajwa.
