Islamabad: Anita Anand, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, is scheduled to visit Pakistan on July 20, 2026, at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar. This visit marks Minister Anand’s first official trip to Pakistan since assuming office.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the visit will include bilateral discussions aimed at enhancing cooperation between Pakistan and Canada in key areas such as trade, investment, education, and people-to-people exchanges. The two ministers will also discuss regional and global issues of mutual interest. Additionally, Minister Anand is expected to meet with Pakistan’s leadership during her stay.
