Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, during a meeting of the Steering Committee of the Sustainable Development Goals Achievement Programme, underscored the necessity of community involvement in the identification of infrastructure development projects. The meeting, held in Islamabad, focused on the ongoing progress of the programme, with committee members expressing their satisfaction with its current status.
According to Radio Pakistan, the committee directed that any savings from previous years should be reinvested in the same sector and province. Deputy Prime Minister Dar highlighted the importance of local community engagement to ensure that the funds allocated under the Sustainable Development Goals Achievement Programme are used effectively and in the people’s best interest.
