Consul General Celebrates Pakistan Heritage and Resolution Day at NYPD Headquarters

New York: Consul General Aamer Ahmed Atozai attended the Pakistan Heritage and Resolution Day event organized by the Pakistani American Law Enforcement Society of the New York Police Department.

The event, held at the NYPD Headquarters, focused on community pride, cultural celebration, and public service. In his address, Atozai emphasized the contributions of Pakistani American officers in enhancing peace and security in New York’s neighborhoods.

He acknowledged their dedication to public service and humanitarian efforts in Pakistan, which demonstrate a deep commitment to their roots and global responsibility.

Atozai praised their initiative in celebrating Pakistan’s heritage in New York, referring to them as “true ambassadors of Pakistan” who embody unity, resilience, and cultural pride.

The event highlighted the significant role of Pakistani Americans in law enforcement and honored their achievements in bridging communities.

The gathering was attended by New York Mayor Eric Adams, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Asim Iftikhar, the Police Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, and many Pakistani American police officers, their families, and community leaders.
