Suchetgarh, April 09, 2023 (PPI-OT):The President of Indian National Congress chapter in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Vikar Rasool Wani, has denounced the Bharatiya Janata Party and Lieutenant Governor (LG) administration for snatching the land of farmers and poor people, and claimed that Congress will protect their lands. Vikar Rasool Wani addressing a rally at Suchetgarh along with working president, Raman Bhalla and others strongly criticised the eviction of marginal farmers holding limited land.

He assured the people that Congress is fighting on streets against the dictatorial orders of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and anti-people decisions against the interests of poor and unemployed youth. Vikar Rasool Wani said the Modi-led BJP government is pursuing vendetta politics against opposition while suppressing every voice of dissent, against which Congress party is fighting under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi and Malikarjun Kharge.

Raman Bhalla on the occasion said that Jai Bharat Satyagraha is a protest against the erroneous conviction and disqualification of Rahul Gandhi, and to express the party’s strong resolve to keep raising the voice of the people against the blatant lot of people’s money and nation’s wealth. The BJP has crossed all limits of lies. This is the battle of truth, the Congress Party has never bowed down to dictators before and will never bow down, he added. Later, a protest rally was taken out in the area raising slogans against the BJP government.
