New Delhi, October 21, 2021 (PPI-OT):The Congress has demanded immediate restoration of statehood and a democratically elected government in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, while saying that New Delhi has “utterly failed” in tackling the situation in the territory.
Referring to the recent killings in IIOJK, Congress spokesperson Gourav Vallabh said, “This means that neither is Government of India, under whose direct jurisdiction is Jammu and Kashmir, able to understand the situation, nor can it tackle the situation.” “We demand that full statehood be given to J and K immediately and there should be a government by democratic process,” he said.
