Commonwealth Asia Youth Summit Gathers in Islamabad to Address Empowerment and Education


ISLAMABAD: The Commonwealth Asia Youth Summit began in Islamabad on Monday, drawing youth leaders and ministers from various countries to deliberate on critical issues like youth empowerment, education, and skills development. The summit aims to foster dialogue and collaboration among young leaders to address contemporary challenges.



According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the event will include a meeting between members of the National Youth Council and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. This interaction is intended to provide a platform for discussing youth-related policies and initiatives in the region.



The summit’s agenda features multiple discussion sessions. A key session on Capacity Building will address Climate Action, while another session will focus on Leadership, Stakeholder Management, and Resource Mobilization. These sessions are designed to equip young leaders with the necessary skills to drive change in their communities.



The gathering underscores the Commonwealth’s commitment to engaging young people in meaningful dialogue and action towards sustainable development goals. The summit is expected to foster new partnerships and inspire innovative solutions to common challenges faced by youth across Asia.
